The ECONTROL range of High Integrity Pressure Protection Systems (HIPPS) is an engineered mechanical and electrical safety system developed by V.E.U. engineers to prevent pressure in protected facilities from exceeding allowable limits.

Each HIPPS system consists of field initiators (sensors), a logic solver, and final elements. The system rapidly isolates the pressure source once a hazardous condition is detected.

HIPPS solutions are widely adopted in the energy sector to protect pipelines, vessels, and critical infrastructure while allowing for lower design pressure requirements downstream.
